Terms of service

Effective Date: May 9, 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to all quotes, orders, purchases, artwork submissions, design services, print  services, installation services, and website use relating to VancouverBannerPrinting.com, operated by Gallant  Creations Ltd., doing business as Gallant Graphics and VancouverBannerPrinting.com  ("VancouverBannerPrinting.com", "we", "us", "our").

By using our website, requesting a quote, approving artwork, placing an order, or purchasing products or  services from us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. General

1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all customers, whether ordering online, by email, by phone, in person, or through any other method.

1.2. We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version posted on our website at the  time of your order will apply, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit any rights that cannot be excluded under  applicable law.

2. Quotes and Pricing

2.1. All quotes are valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated in writing.

2.2. All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. 2.3. Prices may change if project details change, artwork changes after quoting, measurements provided are  inaccurate, or additional materials, labour, revisions, site visits, installation time, or rush production are required. 2.4. Any estimate for turnaround, shipping, or installation timing is an estimate only and is not guaranteed unless we have expressly confirmed it in writing as guaranteed.

3. Orders and Payment

3.1. An order is considered confirmed once we receive your written approval and any required deposit or full  payment.

3.2. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, production begins only after proof approval and payment have been  received.

3.3. We reserve the right to require full payment in advance.

3.4. Overdue invoices may result in delays, storage charges, suspension of work, cancellation of service, or  withholding of delivery or installation.

3.5. If a customer is exempt from certain taxes, valid supporting documentation must be provided before  invoicing or payment.

3.6. All order change, hold, or cancellation requests must be made in writing and are not effective unless  confirmed by us in writing.

3.7. Because most products are custom-made, cancellation is only considered before production begins and  before any custom, special-order, or non-returnable materials are ordered, and only if we agree in writing. 3.8. If an order is cancelled after design work, file setup, proofing, scheduling, material purchasing, or other work has started, we may retain or charge for all work completed, materials ordered, and costs incurred up to the  cancellation date, plus a withholding and administration fee equal to the greater of 15% of the order value or  CAD $50.

3.9. Once a proof has been approved, production has started, printing, cutting, sewing, laminating, routing,  finishing, installation preparation, or custom material ordering has begun, the order is non-cancellable and non refundable except where required by law.

3.10. If a project is placed on hold by the customer for more than 30 days after approval or material  commitment, we may requote the order based on current pricing and material availability, and we may invoice  for work completed, materials committed, and reasonable storage or handling charges.

4. Customer-Supplied Artwork and Content

4.1. You are responsible for all artwork, files, text, images, logos, dimensions, spelling, phone numbers, website  addresses, QR codes, colours, and other information you provide to us.

4.2. By submitting artwork or content, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, that it does not  infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights, and that it complies with applicable  laws and regulations.

4.3. You agree to indemnify and hold VancouverBannerPrinting.com harmless from any claim, loss, damage,  cost, or expense arising from customer-supplied artwork, content, instructions, or requested use. 4.4. We may refuse to print, produce, install, or distribute any content that we believe is unlawful, infringing,  misleading, abusive, discriminatory, unsafe, or otherwise inappropriate.

5. File Quality and Artwork Preparation

5.1. Customers are responsible for providing print-ready artwork unless design services have been separately  quoted.

5.2. We are not responsible for poor print results caused by customer-supplied files, including low resolution,  compression artifacts, incorrect dimensions, missing bleed, RGB files converted to CMYK, transparency issues,  font substitution, embedded image issues, or spelling and layout errors in supplied files. 5.3. We may, at our discretion, make minor file adjustments to assist production, but we are not required to do  so and accept no responsibility for issues that remain in customer-supplied files.

6. Proofs and Approval

6.1. Digital proofs are provided for review and approval where applicable.

6.2. It is your responsibility to review all proofs carefully before approval, including spelling, grammar, contact  information, measurements, quantity, layout, colours, image placement, and finishing details. 6.3. Proof approval is final approval to print or produce. Once you approve a proof,

VancouverBannerPrinting.com is not responsible for errors that were present in the approved proof. 6.4. Any changes requested after proof approval may result in additional design charges, material costs, and  production delays.

6.5. Unless otherwise stated in writing, quotes include up to two reasonable proof or revision rounds. Additional  revisions, redesigns, artwork recreation, or file troubleshooting may be billed separately.

7. Colour, Materials, and Print Tolerances

7.1. Colours viewed on screens, phones, tablets, laptops, and office printers may differ from final printed output. 7.2. Slight variations in colour, density, brightness, gloss, texture, registration, trimming, scaling, contour cutting, panel matching, seam placement, grommet placement, pole pocket finishing, and installation placement are  normal industry tolerances and are not considered defects.

7.3. Exact colour matching is not guaranteed unless specifically quoted in writing as a colour-matched service. 7.4. Material samples, mockups, previous orders, and photographs are guides only and may not be an exact  match to future production.

7.5. Natural variations may occur between material lots, print runs, and manufacturing batches.

8. Production and Turnaround

8.1. Production timelines begin after final proof approval and payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing. 8.2. Turnaround times are estimates only and may be affected by late approvals, incomplete files, revisions,  supplier delays, equipment issues, material availability, holidays, courier delays, weather, site readiness, or  other factors beyond our control.

8.3. Rush service may be available at additional cost and must be confirmed in writing. 8.4. We are not liable for losses caused by delays where the delay is outside our reasonable control.

9. Shipping, Delivery, Pickup, and Risk

9.1. Delivery dates are estimates only unless specifically guaranteed in writing.

9.2. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers, freight carriers, customs, weather, traffic,  labour disruptions, or incomplete delivery information.

9.3. Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery, pickup, or handoff to the carrier, unless  otherwise required by law.

9.4. The customer must inspect all products promptly upon delivery or pickup.

9.5. Any shortage, visible damage, wrong item, or production error apparent on inspection must be reported to  us in writing within 7 days of delivery or pickup, together with clear photographs where applicable.

10. Installation Services

10.1. Installation quotes are based on the information available at the time of quoting. 10.2. The customer is responsible for ensuring safe and legal site access, accurate site information and  measurements, suitable and ready surfaces, required permits, approvals, and landlord or strata authorization,  and adequate power, access equipment, and working conditions where needed.

10.3. We are not responsible for delays or added costs caused by unsafe conditions, site restrictions, inaccurate site information, poor surface condition, hidden wall issues, fresh paint, structural issues, weather, or denied  access.

10.4. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, installation pricing is based on normal business hours and standard  site conditions.

10.5. We are not responsible for damage caused by failure of paint, drywall, stucco, glass coatings, old  surfaces, previously damaged substrates, improperly prepared walls, or other pre-existing site conditions.

11. Returns, Reprints, and Refunds

11.1. Because most products are custom-made, custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable except  where the product has a manufacturing defect, the product was produced materially different from the approved  proof, or the error was clearly caused by us.

11.2. We do not offer refunds, replacements, or reprints for customer spelling or design mistakes, issues  present in approved proofs, low-resolution customer files, colour variation within normal industry tolerance,  delays caused by couriers or circumstances outside our control, change of mind after approval or production,  improper installation or handling by others, or misuse or abnormal use.

11.3. If we determine that a valid claim exists, our remedy may be, at our option, repair, reprint, replacement,  store credit, partial refund, or full refund up to the amount paid for the affected item.

11.4. Shipping, installation, removal, reinstallation, third-party labour, permit costs, lost profits, and other indirect costs are not refundable unless otherwise required by law or agreed by us in writing.

12. Product Use and Compliance

12.1. The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the final use of any product complies with all  applicable laws, bylaws, strata rules, landlord requirements, permitting requirements, accessibility requirements, safety rules, and industry-specific regulations.

12.2. VancouverBannerPrinting.com is not responsible for determining whether a sign, decal, banner, graphic,  or display is permitted for the customer’s intended use or location.

12.3. For safety signs, traffic-related signs, permit signage, construction signage, and regulated uses, the  customer is responsible for verifying required wording, size, reflectivity, placement, and legal compliance.

13. Storage and Abandoned Orders

13.1. Orders should be picked up promptly once we notify you they are ready.

13.2. We may charge reasonable storage fees for completed orders not picked up within 30 days of notice. 13.3. Orders left unclaimed for more than 90 days may be considered abandoned, and we may dispose of them  without refund, subject to applicable law.

14. Intellectual Property

14.1. All designs, estimates, mockups, proofs, layouts, and production files prepared by  VancouverBannerPrinting.com remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing. 14.2. Design concepts, proofs, and mockups may not be reproduced, copied, shared with another supplier, or  used for production elsewhere unless we have agreed in writing.

14.3. Upon full payment, the customer receives the finished product and the right to use the final approved  deliverable for its intended purpose, but not ownership of our working files, native files, templates, or production  methods unless expressly agreed in writing.

14.4. We may photograph completed work and use it for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional  purposes unless the customer requests confidentiality in writing before production.

15. Website Use

15.1. You may not use our website for unlawful purposes, to upload harmful or infringing content, to interfere  with website operation or security, to scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or misuse website content, or to  misrepresent your identity or place fraudulent orders.

15.2. We may suspend or block access to our website or services if we believe misuse, fraud, abuse, or a  breach of these Terms and Conditions has occurred.

16. Privacy and Marketing Communications

16.1. We collect, use, and disclose personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable  privacy law.

16.2. Personal information provided to us may be used to quote, process, produce, deliver, install, invoice, and  support your order.

16.3. If you expressly opt in, we may send you promotional emails or text messages. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

16.4. Transactional communications relating to quotes, proofs, orders, payments, deliveries, and service  updates may still be sent where reasonably necessary.

17. Warranty Disclaimer

17.1. Except as expressly stated by us in writing, products and services are provided without additional  warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. 17.2. Outdoor life expectancy, removability, adhesion, colourfastness, and performance depend on many factors beyond our control, including surface type, preparation, weather, UV exposure, cleaning methods, installation  conditions, and maintenance.

18. Limitation of Liability

18.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VancouverBannerPrinting.com will not be liable for any indirect,  incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost  opportunity, loss of use, delay costs, or third-party claims.

18.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VancouverBannerPrinting.com’s total liability arising out of any  order, product, or service will not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service  giving rise to the claim.

18.3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

19. Force Majeure

19.1. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supplier  interruption, shortage of materials, courier delays, equipment breakdown, labour disruption, severe weather, fire, flood, accident, power outage, internet outage, government action, or other force majeure events.

20. Governing Law

20.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

20.2. Any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions or from our products or services will be brought  before the courts of British Columbia, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
